Daydream
By Joeysguy
One of things I do is sit outside
A couple of cats would be at my side
The pool is clear with blue water
In the house is my daughter
Here comes cat out from the shrubs
He’s jumping and running and chasing bugs
The sun is moving behind a tree
I can now look up it’s not blinding me
A few clouds are drifting by
I can see lines from a plane up in the sky
I sit and daydream about the past
Thinking of my wife, why can’t good things last
What is my life
Since I don’t have my wife
It’s been so long since I felt her touch
Hold her, kiss her, I miss her so much
When I married my wife
It was supposed to be for life
